چکیده
Objective. To demonstrate on a clinical example the importance of conducting pharmacogenetic testing in patients with ischemic stroke receiving clopidogrel order to identify polymorphic carriage CYP2C19*17 (C806T, rs12248560). Materials and methods. A laboratory examination 121 was carried out, polymorphism rs12248560) associated an increase effectiveness clopidogrel, low residual platelet reactivity, increased risk bleeding determined. Carriage markers determined by real-time polymerase chain reaction. Results conclusion. In two (1.7 %), carriers CYP2C19*17, hemorrhagic cerebrovascular complications were detected background clopidogrel. Gastrointestinal bleeding, as well other antiplatelet therapy, are not registered practice

background: in patients with acute stroke and middle cerebral artery (mca) stenosis, microembolic signals (mes) can predict further cerebral ischemia. therefore, this study was designed to evaluate the prevalence of mes by transcranial doppler (tcd) in patients with mca stenosis under treatment of aspirin or clopidogrel. methods: a randomized clinical trial was performed on 40 patients with acu...
